NOVEMBER 18, 2018 – NOTE FROM THE PASTOR

Dear Brethren,

Thank God for the continuing opportunity and privilege to take part in the various Church-Mission anniversary celebrations, and World Missions Conferences here and abroad. What a challenge and delight to seize and steward by God’s enabling grace such opportunities God sends our way to share the Word, and encourage one another especially in the furtherance of the Great Commission. Thank you my dear brethren for your continuing prayers, understanding, and wholehearted support. Again, please do earnestly pray for wisdom and replenishing strength as I leave this evening for the 11-day ministry engagements in the countries of I., N., M., and S., visiting, meeting, fellowships, and ministering with our Missionaries, Mission partners, and spiritual leaders in the pursuit of World Missions.

As we recognize, acknowledge, and submit to God’s plan of having and keeping a strong base in reaching the lost world, may we be constantly aware that the devil is out to destroy God’s 3 basic divinely ordained institutions as the home, the government, and the Church. His primary target is the home, because as goes the home, so goes the Church; as goes the Church, so goes the government; as goes the government, so goes the nation; as goes the nation, so goes the world. No nation is stronger than the moral fiber of the home and the Church. Let us then continue to abide in God’s Word that offers excellent guidelines to strengthen our homes and Churches.

Our God assures us that the devil is a defeated enemy, and our Lord Jesus Christ will destroy his works. The Bible in I John 3:8 reminds us, “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” Moreover, God’s Word in I John 4:4 gives us confidence and comfort, “Ye are of God little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.” Surely, my dear Bethany brethren that “in all these things we are more than conquerors, through him that loved us.”

All By God’s Grace and For God’s Glory!
