AUGUST 26, 2018 – NOTE FROM THE PASTOR

Dear Brethren,

We congratulate our Bethany Mission work in Brixton Subdivision, Camarin, Caloocan City on their 6th Church Mission anniversary today highlighted by their 5th World Missions Conference this afternoon. What a blessing and joy to note the continuing awareness and focused heart especially of our Bethany family in the fulfillment of the Great Commission. It was last Sunday when our Bethany Mission work in Basista, Pangasinan had their 6th World Missions Conference as the main highlight of their 6th Mission anniversary celebration. Even as still a Mission work, God has continued to impress upon our Missionaries and colabourers on the direction to “pay it forward” with a grateful and yielded heart with God’s plan and purpose of reaching the lost world with the Gospel. We thank God that such heart and focus have continued to provoke and influence other Churches and Mission works in the furtherance of World Evangelization.

It will then be the 1st World Missions Conference of Metro Lucena Baptist Church tomorrow the whole day. What a privilege and opportunity to bring God’s message and challenge on the invitation request of Pastor Joe Belesario. After this, other World Missions Conferences for the next few weeks where we have involvement include the Conference in Dasmarinas, Cavite; Nasugbu, Batangas, Pigcarangan, Lanao del Norte, and in K., C.. We thank God as well for calling and raising-up many more labourers to the harvest fields here and abroad. We continue to trust God to enable us to at least equal our Faith Promise Missions Giving with that of our Tithe. This will surely help strengthen and expand our World Missions engagements to the glory of God.

We continue to pray and prepare for our upcoming 20th LDWBC Christian College Day and the ensuing 11th Soul Winning Leadership Conference (renamed Baptist Leadership Conference) on September 3-5, with the kick-off services next Sunday, September 02. We encourage everyone to take part especially in the vital preparation of our hearts with the Corporate Overnight Chain Prayer Vigil this coming Friday evening, August 31, starting at 7 o’clock towards Saturday morning, concluding with our 7:30am Prayer Meeting.

My dear brethren, let us continue to be a blessing and a channel of God’s blessings to our ministry partners, friends, and co-labourers.

All By God’s Grace and For God’s Glory!
Pastor Gerry Nable
