Dear Brethren,
We praise and thank God for the blessings and victories of the recently concluded 11th Soul Winning Leadership Conference last week. What a joy to welcome a great number of Pastor and Missionary delegates, along with their wives, Church staff, workers, Bible College students, and other co-labourers representing 135 Churches/Mission works. Praise God for 21,074 students and residents reached-out with the Gospel in the various schools and nearby barangays. There were some 6,348 recorded professions of faith in Christ. While only Heaven knows the genuine professors/ possessors of salvation in Christ, we are however thankful of the assurance we have in Isaiah 55:11 that God’s Word will not return unto Him void, but it shall accomplish that which God please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto He sent it. Glory be to God for the overall excellent and healthy spirit of the conference.
I’m deeply grateful to God for you my dear brethren for once again exemplifying your labour of love, wholehearted service, and selfless giving to the glory of God. Thank you for consistently having a tender and obedient heart for God. We appreciate much the various Task Forces on Responsibilities that sincerely worked hard and serve well. The sweet spirit of service and cooperation were once again evident and encouraging. What a blessing to know of brethren who took leave of absence from their work, and gladly get involved in addressing various needs and concerns. The Bible in Hebrews 6:10 aptly promised, “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”
We look forward to hosting anew for our 12th Soul Winning-Baptist Leadership Conference on September 2-4 next year. My dear brethren, let us CONTINUE to be a blessing and a channel of God’s blessings in considering one another to provoke unto love and to good works in the pursuit of souls and Christ-like servant leadership.
