September 17, 2017 – Note from the Pastor

Dear Brethren,

We keep on By Faith in God and His great renewing grace in pursuing the command, urge, and obedience to preach the Gospel to every creature. We continue to faithfully and diligently invest our life and resources for God’s Work, and expect much more miracles from God. It is indeed imperative that we be clean vessels, tools, and instruments in the hands of the Master as He commends His great love and grace in this dark and dreary world that is in bondage with sin and Satan.

The life of Christ asserted and validated His deity, and His work on the cross and subsequent resurrection delivers to us the greatest news the world has ever known. Jesus Christ, God the Son, lived a perfectly sinless life, died on the cross of Calvary, and victoriously conquered sin, death, the grave, and Satan through His bodily resurrection. This is the Gospel, the message of the Good News. We can be eternally forgiven of our sin, and assured of a home in Heaven when we accept God’s free gift of salvation through faith in the finished work of Christ.

My dear brethren, God has given us the mandate to go into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature. Surely the Gospel message is for everyone! This is often called the Great Commission and serves as the marching orders for every Church, with every believer-member in it. This is the main purpose of the Church — Christ’s representative Body here in this world. We as believers and part of the Church, who have received the Gospel, the message of salvation By Faith, are to proclaim it to others. This is our primary purpose as we yield to God, and His plan for our time and age.

The call to share the Gospel with the world is purposeful and powerful. There is no separation of the sacred and the secular in the life of a believer. All that we do in life must honour Christ and advance His cause. God still endues His witnesses with power for the purpose of sharing the Gospel. This is the work of God, the Holy Spirit, who assures us of His enabling power to “be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” My dear brethren, let us continue to go and preach, proclaim, or herald the Gospel to every creature.

All By God’s Grace and For God’s Glory,
Pastor Gerry Nable
