OCTOBER 28, 2018 – NOTE FROM THE PASTOR

Dear Brethren,

Praise and thanks be to God for the good success and blessings of the recently concluded 17-day Missions trip in 7 countries of the world where we have Missionaries sent-out, in partnership with, and supported. Thank God for the traveling safety throughout those 9 international flights enabling me to arrive safely last Friday evening from the last leg of my trip in K., A.. What a privilege and opportunity as well to minister the Word overall in some 20 occasions and to meet, fellowship, and establish/strengthen partnership with respective local Pastors and Missionaries towards the vigorous fulfillment of the Great Commission.

The 3rd and last leg of the trip in the 3 countries of A .that started in M. last Saturday, October 20, was similarly a great blessing, actually seeing the great work God is doing through our Missionaries. What a joy and encouragement to see the continuing good results of the great faith and focused hearts of our Missionary couple M. and L.E. with their children B. and J.. The 2nd Mission anniversary celebration saw more than 200 in attendance with majority of the visitors signifying their decision in receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord in the prior Evangelistic service that was among the highlights of the celebration.

It was truly a privilege to minister the Word in the Church/Mission works of Missionaries E, J.T., and J.T./C.M. in their respective fields of M., T., and K. in diverse occasions. Thank God for responsive and yielded hearts to God’s message and challenge. It was likewise a privilege to administer the baptism of 14 believers in M. and 5 believers in K.. As Psalm 118:23 would declare, “This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.”

There are indeed great prospects and opportunities in all these Mission fields. Certainly, as our Lord Jesus Christ exclaimed to His disciples in Matthew 9:37, “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few.” He then hastened to add in verse 38, “Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth laborers into his harvest.” Our Missionaries in these various fields visited continue to ask and pray for partners and new Missionaries to team up in reaching-out said fields.

My dear brethren, may I reiterate my heartfelt thanks to you all for your consistent prayers, sincere cooperation, clear understanding, and selfless support. We could confidently utter with the Psalmist in Psalm 126:3, “The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.” We therefore continue on with an abiding trust in God, catching His vision, trusting His provision, and following His direction!

All By God’s Grace and For God’s Glory!
