November 16, 2017 – NOTE FROM THE PASTOR

Dear Brethren,

The Lord be praised for the continuing numerical and spiritual growth of the brethren in our Bethany Bible Baptist Church Mission-U. in J, (near D.C.) led by our Tentmaker Missionary Pastor Architect A.A.. What a blessing to see them faithfully staying in the Word, and humbly allowing the Lord to keep on using them in consistently partnering with Missionaries in our local and foreign fields through their prayer and financial support. What a sterling testimony of God’s sustaining great grace in the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

While their first year as a Mission work will be on January 12, 2018 with the celebration of their 1st Church Mission Anniversary, our great God is apparently using them even as a secondary World Missions base. The brethren’s heart in giving for the work of the Lord especially for Missions and Missionaries is very much evident, and has indeed encouraged and challenged many co-labourers. It was a timely opportunity in last Friday morning worship service in D. to commend, and further urge them not to get weary in well doing, but rather keep on leveling-up their faith in God.

It was last Friday after the service in D. when we (Bro. D.S.B. with his son E., Bro. J.B., Bro. J.B., and me) left for K., N.. Thank God for another smooth and safe travel just like my earlier flight from Manila to D. last Thursday very early morning. Praise God for the blessings of the 1st anniversary celebration yesterday morning of our Bethany Mission work here in K., N.. Thank God for the souls saved, and the decisions made for Christ by the brethren in line with the anniversary theme taken from Colossians 4:5, “Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.” We appreciate and commend the unity, cooperation, and labour of love of our Bethany brethren led by our Missionary H.S..

Thank God as well for the privilege to speak, encourage, and challenge from God’s Word our co-labourers and Missions partners in the “Cookies and Tea Fellowship” at R.A. Hotel, yesterday afternoon hosted by Faith Baptist Mission on the request of Missionary R.A.. The schedule for today until Tuesday includes Bible studies with members and prospects in various locations. It will then be on Wednesday early evening when we get back to D. and minister accordingly until my departure back to Manila on Saturday. The schedules include the Lord’s Supper celebration on our Bethany Mission work in S. on Thursday evening, and their World Missions Conference on Friday afternoon. Also included are the Friday morning services in E. Baptist Mission, and in our Bethany BBC-U..

Thank you again my dear brethren for your sustained prayers, understanding, and support in these essential Mission trips. Would to God we continue to pray for, and vigorously train, through mentoring, modeling, and ministering, many more labourers for the great harvest.

All By God’s Grace and For God’s Glory!
