MAY 6, 2018 – NOTE FROM THE PASTOR

Dear Brethren,

We praise and thank God for the blessings of even a brief pause with my wife, to visit, fellowship with Missionaries, and minister in some of the Mission works in H.C.M., V.. What a blessing and encouragement to see the more relevant and effective creative ways in reaching the V. families with the message of God’s love and hope through Christian education/language centers. Our all-knowing, all-powerful, and everywhere present God continues to give wisdom and direction to our Missionaries and co-labourers in touching the hearts, teaching the minds, and transforming the lives of those they reach out and minister to. Our prayers and financial support continue to go with them.

We also thank God for the new batch of trained and equipped labourers for the vast harvest fields. Praise God for 89 graduates last  Thursday May 03 in the 10th BBCEMFI Unified Commencement Exercises. Of these, we have 44 graduates in Bible College, and 29 in LDWBC Christian College. Along with the 16 graduates in our maiden Grade 12-Senior High School, they were aptly challenged to CONTINUE with a focused heart on God, with a growth in grace, with godly relationship, with an abiding trust in God’s plan and purpose, and with a Biblical purpose of glorifying God, reaching the lost world, and faithfulness to God’s call.

It was likewise a blessing to witness last Friday the achievements of our Academy students in the 38th Year-End Awards and Banquet Night of our Bethany Baptist Academy. In conjunction with the message we have in last Wednesday Evening Midweek service on “Training our Generation and the Next for the Harvest”, we CONTINUE to mentor, model, and minister to equip many more labourers for the vast fields that are “white already to harvest”. There is indeed a great harvest that is ready and waiting to be gathered in the field of Mission.

In view of the consistent leveling-up by God’s sustaining great grace in our Faith Promise Missions Giving, we CONTINUE to send assistance in appropriately addressing some of the various needs and special projects in both local and foreign Mission work s. We continue to experience and rejoice in the fact that “God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.”

All By God’s Grace and For God’s Glory!
