MARCH 4, 2018 – NOTE FROM THE PASTOR

Dear Brethren,

We praise and thank God for the blessings and victories of the 3-night, 2-day 2018 Spiritual Leadership Conference last week which was even preceded by the first ever 1-night, 2- half day  Roundtable Asia. It was in partner ship with Lancaster Baptist Church and some Churches here in Metro Manila and environs. The excellent and encouraging spirit of the conference was very evident with the edifying and heart-stirring messages as well as the sweet fellowship among delegates. We thank God for the many life-changing decisions, and commitments made in almost very preaching service invitation.

We thank God likewise for the opportunity and privilege extended to our Bethany brethren to get engaged and even immersed in various areas of responsibilities like registration, ushering, AV  Tech, books distribution-sale, support staff, choirs, and other areas. What a blessing and encouragement to see the availability and labour of love of those volunteer staff who helped in one way or the other. There were a good number of our Bethany brethren who filed leave of absence from their respective work places to get involved.

We commend and thank God for you, my dear brethren, for your servant’s heart and the willingness to serve, spend, and be spent, alongside striving together for the faith of the Gospel. May we  radiate such uplifting testimony like the house of Stephanas as recorded in I Corinthians 16:15, “…and that they addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints.” Once again we are assured in Hebrews 6:10, “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”

My dear brethren, as we have been encouraged, challenged, revived, and renewed in the 2018 Spiritual Leadership Conference-Asia, let us CONTINUE by God’s enabling grace to preserve the gains of the conference, and uphold the spirit of Philippians 1:27, wherein the Apostle Paul exhorts, “Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.”

All By God’s Grace and For God’s Glory!
