Dear Brethren,
Thank God for the quick ministry engagements last week in our 2 Mission works, and a partnering Church at the U., particularly in D. and S. The 2nd Mission anniversary celebration and 2nd World Missions Conference of our Bethany Bible Baptist Church Mission-U. in J. were real blessings with the year’s theme, “Moving Forward for God”. We thank God for the sweet spirit of the anniversary and conference with the servant and generous hearts of our Bethany brethren. We thank God for and commend the faithful and selfless leadership of our Tentmaker Missionary Pastor A.A. What a joy to sense and experience the unity of spirit and purpose amongst the brethren, with their initiative in fervently praying and even taking part/investing for the continuing work in our 4-unit prophet’s chambers, and for our upcoming 19th World Missions Conference.
We praise God for another significant milestone event in our World Missions thrust with the Missionary Commissioning of our 4 on-deck Missionary family units in our 4 o’ clock afternoon service today. We thank God and recognize God’s call upon them, with their responsive and submissive hearts in fulfilling their respective calling. Truly, God’s calling is God’s enabling. This is both true for the called Missionary and for the Church as well called to send-out and hold the rope of support for God’s work in the Mission field. What a profound privilege and sacred responsibility it is to be called of God! Indeed, as clearly assured in I Thessalonians 5:24, “Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.”
My dear brethren , let us continue to pray and press on in our vigorous preparations for our 65th Church anniversary and 19th World Missions Conference. We truly need to have hearts that are pure for God’s use. As our Lord virtually promised in Matthew 5:8, such pure heart that is focused and fixed on God would enable us to see the manifestation s of God’s hand, power, and continuing miracles in our midst. With a pure and trusting heart, we NOW continue to move forward for and with God!
