JULY 8, 2018 – NOTE FROM THE PASTOR

Dear Brethren,

Praise God for the blessings of our RU Recovery Ministry, now on its 2nd year engagement here in Bethany. It is a Bible and faith based recovery ministry wherein “recovery without relapse” is made possible through God’s Truth – a genuine personal relationship established and linked only with our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ. We continue to point out what the Bible clearly says in Acts 20:21b on “repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ”. This is likewise assured with the declaration of our Lord Jesus Himself in John 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Moreover, Jesus says as well in John 8:36, “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” Plainly said, “No Jesus, No Freedom; Know Jesus, Know Freedom!”

The first year ministry in Taguig Treatment Rehabilitation Center at almost twice weekly has indeed yielded amazing results. This is even testified by their Spiritual Director, Michael Perfecto, who himself made profession of faith in Christ, the manifestation or fruit of which is becoming more and more apparent. We thank God for, and are blessed with the commitment, dedication, patience, and diligence of our volunteer staff of around 20 faithful. We thank God as well for His sustaining grace upon the leadership of Bro. Marco Apollo Antonio who faithfully and vigorously carried on the baton of ministry from Pastor Bobby Widwidan.

As we start our BBCEMFI classes this week for this new school year 2018-2019, we continue to thank God, and rejoice on the favour He bestows in these various educational ministries that help especially in training, mentoring, and equipping future workers/labourers in the Lord’s vineyard, which include as well on-deck Missionaries to both local and foreign fields. The Lord has graciously and consistently gave us the vision and the provision in steadfastly stewarding the ministry to His glory. The Bible in Philippians 2:13 clearly guarantees, “For it is God which worketh in you both to will (vision) and to do (provision) of his good pleasure.”

My dear brethren, we shall then continue to uphold the BBCEMFI core values of Reverence, Integrity, Diligence, and Excellence. We likewise as a Church and BBCEMFI family continue to live out the 7 strands that define the heart of education, that is: Salvation, Scriptures, Soul Winning, Submission, Separation, Stewardship, and Service. Would to God we consistently be a sterling testimony for Christ!

All By God’s Grace and For God’s Glory!
